The company was founded in 2001 specifically to take advantage of the opportunities that were being created by the explosion in the use of SMS text messaging with mobile phones.

In what was a very far sighted move at the time the company focused on what might be termed the serious or business uses for SMS texting. This resulted in the first suite of products txttools, which was successfully launched in 2003.

This is a powerful suite of products that enable the user to interactively manage, send and receive text messages to selected groups of phones using a web based interface. Crucially the delivery status of each message can be monitored.
